George Tanios is pleading guilty to misdemeanor offenses that could help him avoid more jail time. Tanios was indicted on felony charges that he conspired with another man to assault and injure a Capitol Police Officer during the riots on January 6th. The two misdemeanors each carry a maximum sentence of one year in prison.
