Former Holz Elementary Teacher Learns Her Sentence

A former Holz Elementary School teacher who pleaded guilty to multiple counts of battery on several students was sentenced Tuesday to 10 years in jail. Nancy Boggs was sentenced to one year for each misdemeanor battery charge that she previously pleaded guilty to. The sentences are set to run consecutively. The incidents were all captured on surveillance cameras in the classroom and took place over the course of several days in September 2021. She resigned from her position on Nov. 1, listing “retirement” as the reason for her resignation.
