Attorneys for the city of Huntington and Cabell County officially filed an appeal Tuesday of a ruling in a landmark opioid trial after a judge ruled in favor of three major drug distributors. The appeal, filed in U.S. Fourth Circuit of Appeals, seeks to reverse a July 4 ruling where U.S. District Judge David Faber ruled in favor of AmerisourceBergen Drug Co., Cardinal Health Inc. and McKesson Corp. Attorneys representing the city of Huntington and Cabell County said following the ruling that the judgment was wrong and there were factual errors.
