A manufacturing plant that produces electric school buses will soon be rolling out the vehicles in West Virginia. State and local leaders conducted a ribbon-cutting ceremony Tuesday for GreenPower Motor Co. in South Charleston. Company officials expect equipment to be delivered over the next month or two. He said in about three months, they expect to start manufacturing buses at the facility. The operation will bring in about 200 jobs to the area, but it’s expected to expand up to 900 new jobs when it reaches full production.
