Governor Justice signed a bill giving 105-million-dollars in state funding for a renewable battery plant in Weirton. The plant will produce iron-air batters, and will create at least 750 jobs. Form Energy will take over the former Weirton Steel Plant. The state already invested 75-million dollars for purchasing the property and starting infrastructure work.
