An eagle scout in St. Albans has created a box to collect American flags and he’ll give them a proper disposal. The St. Albans Police Department said Elijah Cavender built the box for a community service project to help him earn his eagle scout rank. The drop-off box is on the west side of the police station and the first flag submitted was from the St. Albans Parks and Recreation department. The drop-off box will be there for anyone who needs to properly dispose of a U.S. flag.
