Appalachian Power customers could see bills increase by $1.23

Appalachian Power officials are seeking a review of infrastructure investment costs. Company officials report an approval from West Virginia’s Public Service Commission would result in a monthly increase of $1.23 for residential customers using 1,000 kilowatt hours. A news release from Appalachian Power asks for a modified rate increase that’s tied to infrastructure costs. The PSC has yet to approve.
