The Huntington City Mission is preparing to open a new facility this summer that will be focused solely on improving the mental health of those experiencing homelessness. It will be called Anchor of Hope as the mission has purchased the former Burnside Law Office building in Huntington located at 1016 Sixth Avenue. Eyewitness News talked with Executive Director Mitchell Webb who said this will allow the mission to provide a more holistic approach to serving the people in need.
Webb said they are shooting for a June 1 opening date.
