The family of a Cabell County student who has autism has filed a lawsuit against teachers and the county’s school board alleging neglect and abuse. The lawsuit claims the student’s teachers at Explorer Academy in Huntington forcefully restraining the child for an extended period of time and ridiculed the student, who has disabilities, on several ocassions. The child, who is now 11 years old, has since been removed from the school.
