A West Virginia woman has been charged with murder more than five years after a man was found dead in home in Greenbrier County. 30- year old Autumn McNeely Crawley is charged with first-degree murder in connection with the 2018 death of 72-year old Clarence “Bud” Sheppard of Rupert, according to the Greenbrier County Sheriff’s Office. Sheppard’s body was found in his home in January 2018 after officers were requested to perform a welfare check. Deputies said his body was sent to the West Virginia Medical Examiner’s Office where his death was ruled a homicide. McNeely is being held without bond in Southern Regional Jail and the investigation is still active.
