Friday marked the seventh anniversary of the deadly 2016 floods that that took nearly two dozen lives in West Virgina and led to widespread damage. Folks in Clendenin held a festival last Saturday to mark their recovery, with a 5k and vendors, plus games and live music. The Flood Rebuilding Celebration represented the town’s unity during the process.
