An ATV crash killed an 11-year-old boy in Wayne County on Tuesday. The Kermit Volunteer Fire Department released details saying the 11-year-old, a 12-year-old and an 18-year-old were riding in the side-by-side with a dog when the dog jumped to the floor, hitting the accelerator. The ATV went over an embankment as the 18-year-old driver was trying to move dog off the accelerator. The 11-year-old died while the 12-year-old was taken to the hospital in an ambulance. The 18-year-old and the dog suffered minor injuries.
