The Putnam County Commission has passed an ordinance that would ban children from attending adult live performances. Commissioners passed the ordinance after a public comment period during their meeting Tuesday evening. The ordinance will prohibit children from attending adult live performances, such as drag shows. Critics of the ordinance were upset because it was put on the agenda shortly after Putnam Pride WV held its first event in the county.
