Police say a man acted in self-defense when he shot another man who attacked him with a baseball bat and a pistol in North Charleston. An ex-boyfriend showed up at a woman’s house on 7th Avenue and started a fight with another man who also has a relationship with the woman. She tried to separate the two men when shots were fired. The woman and one of the men were hit by gunfire. She was shot in the shoulder and the man is in serious condition.
