A Marshall University student has been named to the national opioid youth advisory board. Brooklyn Johnson is a member of the Prevention Empowerment Partnership Youth Trainee Program and is one of seven students nationwide who were chosen to serve on the national Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Opioid Affected Youth Advisory Board. The board will address the specific challenges that youth deal with when affected by opioids and substance abuse disorders, and use the experience of others to help them.
