A man accused of fatally shooting a Kanawha County woman earlier this year has pleaded not guilty to murder. Peris Fallins of Charleston faces an indictment on several charges related to the killing of Julia Wickline on Feb. 19. A criminal complaint filed in Kanawha County Magistrate Court said multiple police agencies responded to a home on Grant Street after Wickline was shot while sitting on a porch. Investigators said surveillance video and interviews were used to identify the alleged shooter. Fallins has a pretrial scheduled for Aug. 23 and trial is set for Aug. 28. He remains in South Central Regional Jail.
