Two Cabell County Sheriff’s Department cruisers are now equipped with dash cameras, and the deputies behind the wheel will be wearing body cams. Cabell deputies have started a 30-day trial period with new dash and body cameras as Chief Deputy Doug Adams said the eventual goal is to take this department-wide. Eyewitness News said the sheriff’s department is working with the national company Getac who has installed the gear that also includes a camera filming the back seat.
