Just two weeks after its first meeting, a bicycle group that formed on social media is growing in popularity. More than a hundred people joined the West Virginia Pedal Pals group on Facebook. Eyewitness News said the group is led by Samantha Nygaard and the group meets on Sundays for a bike tour. Last week’s theme was Charleston history and the group rode around downtown Charleston, stopping to learn facts about murals and streets. This coming Sunday, Pedal Pals will be exploring Spring Hill Cemetery Park and Arboretum.
