Fayette County investigators release more on double murder-suicide

Investigators have identified the three people involved in a double murder-suicide Tuesday night in Fayette County. 60-year old James Shrader, 59-year old Henry Shrader, and 24-year old Jesse Dech were found dead at a home in the 300 block of Legends Highway near Mount Hope, according to a news release from the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies found all three men dead with apparent gunshot wounds when they arrived. The sheriff’s office said Dech is believed to have killed the Shraders. As part of the investigation, deputies obtained a search warrant for Dech’s home where they said they found precursors and material to make a pressure bomb. The bodies have been transferred to the West Virginia Medical Examiner’s Office to determine the cause of death.
