A brief lockdown happened Tuesday at Huntington High School after a magazine and a gun holster were found. Huntington police were able to search and clear the facility during the lockdown, and no firearm was found on the campus. While investigators do not know at this point how the items ended up at the school, there’s no information to suggest the items were part of a threat of violence or intent to cause harm, according to a spokesperson with the school district. The investigation is continuing.
