Thomas Memorial Hospital launched a shuttle service for patients and visitors at its South Charleston location. The service features two 6-seat all-electric vehicles – complete with roofs, doors, heating and air conditioning, to be used to assist patients and visitors from parking lots to the hospital entrance. The shuttle service will be piloted by ambassadors who will make regular rounds through the patient and visitor parking lots. The shuttle service will operate daily, Monday through Friday, initially from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. with plans to increase service hours in the coming months.
