Some high school students are losing access to an academic program at an all-day education center. Ninth and tenth grade students who are considered at-risk have been part of the Career Plus program at the Carver Career and Technical Education Center, but the program is changing. The Career Plus program will be in high schools instead, because of low enrollment at the CTE Center. The Carver Career and Technical Education Center is not closing, and in fact, more programs could be added. It’s only the at-risk program that’s being moved.
