Superloads to cause road blocks in Ohio

Drivers in Ohio may find delays today because of a superload that’s traveling through Scioto County. Super and mega transports are oversized loads that haul heavy equipment, and the first and smallest of the loads will leave the dock just east of Manchester today (Wednesday, March 6) around 8 a.m. and will move eastbound on U.S. 52 to West Portsmouth and will also travel on State Route 239. Tomorrow, the load will impact State Route 239, State Route 73, and US Route 23. The Scioto County Sheriff’s Office said traffic delays are expected.
