Calhoun County school bus accident leads to charges against the driver

Over a dozen students were injured and a bus driver was arrested after a school bus rolled over in Calhoun County. West Virginia State Police said the school bus rolled over on South Calhoun Highway, near Calhoun County High School, in Mount Zion Monday evening. Troopers said 14 to 16 students were injured. One student was flown to the hospital and the other students were taken to the hospital by ambulance. Their injuries are not considered life-threatening. Troopers said the bus driver, Jeffrey Brannon of Big Bend, is charged with driving under the influence causing injury and child neglect.
