A man wanted in connection to a murder in Harrison County has been arrested. The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force, a division of the U.S. Marshals, captured Kameron Darnell Griffin, aged 23, in Akron, Ohio. Griffin is suspected of kidnapping Dallion Lewis from his home in Hepzibah on March 21, 2023. It is thought that Griffin intended to harm or possibly kill Lewis. Later, Lewis’ body was found on Jack Run Road dead from gunshot wounds. Not long after the body was discovered, authorities arrested Dennis High from Salem, charging him with the murder. A few days later, Jennifer Kirk from Clarksburg was also arrested and charged with the same crime. On March 2, another person, Douglas Steiner from Mount Clare, was linked as an accomplice. The murder investigation was led by The Harrison County Sheriff’s office and the Greater Harrison County Drug and Violent Crime Task Force. Sheriff Robert Matheny expressed gratitude for their joint efforts.
