The suspect in a Lewis County murder investigation is dead after an incident early Monday in Kanawha County. Deputies said the suspect was found dead from a self-inflicted gunshot along Ester Lane in the Hughes Creek area of Kanawha County. State fire marshal investigators confirmed multiple fatalities in a fire in the Ireland area of Lewis County. The fire was connected to another incident that occurred in Kanawha County earlier this morning,” according to Lewis County Chief Deputy Robbie Bailey. The investigation is continuing.
