West Virginia International Yeager Airport officials announced that a Federal Aviation Administration environmental impact statement on an airfield project will be paused in favor of improving an aging terminal. The Central West Virginia Regional Airport Authority is opting for additional planning before moving forward with airfield improvements, according to a news release from CRW. Eyewitness News said the move will allow the airport to modernize its terminal building. Airport administration will look to apply for grant funding from the FAA to improve 77-year-old terminal.
