Heavy rainfall damaged a cemetery in Ohio County last week. Mt. Zion Cemetery in Wheeling is feeling the effects of a major mudslide that could take months, if not years to recover from. More than one hundred tombstones were moved by the mudslide and they’re scattered now. Several agencies on the county and state level will get together on restoration efforts. The cemetery is closed to public access now.
