A Wayne County golfcourse continues to rebuild its clubhouse after a fire. It was December 2023 when the Creekside Golf Course in Lavalette lost its clubhouse in an accidental fire, leaving workers without jobs. The rebuilt clubhouse will inlcude an updated kitchen and other features, and a grand opening is planned for late summer or early fall. Golfers are continuing to play while the clubhouse is being rebuilt.
