Point Pleasant park to undergo renovations

The city of Point Pleasant announced plans to renovate Harmon Park last week.
Harmon Park is used by little league baseball and youth and high school softball teams. The city said the current fields will be rearranged. In addition to the fields, a playground, pickleball court, walking track and picnic shelters will be added to the park, according to the city. The city estimates the project will cost about $4.5 million and said the project will most likely be completed in phases based on funding. Eyewitness News reported they are seeking grants and sponsorships to help fund the project.
