A woman is facing child abuse charges after deputies arrested her and a man who had an outstanding warrant in Cabell County on Wednesday according to court documents. Lanette Marie Sanchez, 36, of Columbus, Ohio, was detained according to a complaint filed with Cabell County Magistrate Court. A witness outside of the apartment saying that Sanchez was arguing with a male while a child could be heard screaming for help. According to the criminal complaint, deputies found drug paraphernalia including what authorities believe to be heroin. A child and several adults claimed to be friends of Sanchez. Among those friends was John Bryan who allegedly had an active arrest warrant for being a prohibited person with a firearm.
