The man discovered near Pumpkin Park in Milton was confirmed Sunday to be a missing person. Police said 42-year old Jarred Lee Melton was discovered by some fishermen in a popular fishing pond in the area. The body was reported just before 4 p.m. Saturday, according to the Milton Police Department. Melton was transported to the State Medical Examiner’s Office and police believe there was no foul play involved.
