Deputies are seeking help identifying a suspect in an armed robbery that happened Saturday night in the Mossy area, according to the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office.
Reports came in just after 11 p.m. of an armed robbery at the Midway T&C gas station. According to authorities, the suspect went into the store in clothes concealing his identity, brandishing a firearm and demanding money. The suspect, described as white male, 6 foot tall and slender, then grabbed a bank deposit bag before fleeing the scene on foot.
