Structural engineers recommended East Bank Middle School to not use their football field until serious repairs are made. Eyewitness News said they were told the students can use this field for practices, but because the bleachers and press box have been condemned by the county, they are unable to host games there. The school knew the bleachers were condemned for over 15 years, but they still had permission to use them, up until May. There’s a push to make the field usable by the fall.
