A man was charged Tuesday with attempted murder in a stabbing investigation in Mingo County. 25-year old Aaron Mahon of Delbarton is accused of stabbing 33-year old Kenneth Ooten of Delbarton, according to a news release from West Virginia State Police. Troopers said they responded early Tuesday morning to the Upper Bias area near Delbarton where Ooten was found with a cut to his neck.
Ooten flown to a Huntington hospital and underwent surgery. Mahon is being held in Southwestern Regional Jail. An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
