It’s back-to-normal for the Loudendale Volunteer Fire Department after a brief closure

A Facebook post from the Loudendale Volunteer Fire Department said the agency is operating again after closing because of a lapse in their workers’ compensation coverage. It expired on July 22, because insurance-related emails were going to an inbox that was no longer monitored, and once the problem was detected it took time to reinstate coverage. Volunteer Fire Departments in Mason and Wayne counties were also temporarily closed recently because of workers’ compensation issues.
