A man has died after a July hit-and-run. 37-year old Duane Oechsner of Texarkana, Texas was hit by a pickup truck in the eastbound lanes of I-64 in late July. Barboursville police said a crash between a tractor-trailer and another vehicle on July 30 near the US-60 exit on I-64E. Oechsner was driving the tractor-trailer and got out of his vehicle to check on the other person when he was hit by a pickup truck driver. They’re still looking for the Chevy Silverado truck which would have damage to the front and passenger side. Anyone with tips, should contact Barboursville Police.
