West Virginia Governor Jim Justice announced a new program this week to encourage kids to eat healthy. The “West Virginia Healthy Habits Schools Challenge” encourages elementary school students to make a two-minute video of what’s being done to create healthy habits at their schools and they can win up to $2,500. Winning schools can use the money for exercise and athletic equipment at their schools.The deadline to enter is November 5th and you can find more details on the Department of Health and Department of Education websites.
