Jackson County Schools announced on Friday that all residents over the age 65 will be able to attend high school sporting events for free. According to a social media post by the district, the measure was approved by the Jackson County Board of Education for the fall season and will grant residents who are over 65 and have obtained a senior pass free admission to regular season athletic events.
The passes can be picked up from 4 to 6 p.m. on Thursday, August 22 at the Jackson County BOE.
