More than 600 miles of ATV trails are being planned in Eastern Kentucky. Crews are currently in the process of mapping the trails, and more than 150 miles of trails are ready for riders now. The hope is that the new trail system will be a draw, similar to the Hatfield-McCoy Trail System. Floyd County has added campsites to the German Ridge Campground with water, electric and soon Wi-Fi. An agency is working with landowners to lease their land for the trails to complete the trail system.
