TC Energy will host a groundbreaking ceremony next week for a new building on Kanawha Boulevard. TC Energy’s offices had been in a building on MacCorkle Avenue in the Kanawha City area and then last fall, the company announced plans to replace the old CASCI building in downtown Charleston, which has been torn down. The groundbreaking ceremony for the new building will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 18 at 200 Kanawha Blvd. East. Construction will be complete sometime in 2025, and TC Energy will move in a year after that.
