FBI assisting law enforcement with series of school threats

West Virginia has seen an abundance of school threats, initiating responses from the school systems and law enforcement agencies, including the FBI. A statement released by the FBI’s Pittsburgh office this week said the bureau is in close coordination with law enforcement partners to provide assistance where appropriate. That includes gathering intelligence, sharing information, tracking down leads, and working with partners to identify and mitigate threats quickly and effectively.” One threat by a sixth-grade student at Weir Middle School resulted in the student responsible for the threat is now facing a felony charge.
