West Virginia State Police confirmed this week that there is a criminal investigation into the former Boone County music teacher and band director Patrick Carte. Details regarding the investigation have not been made public, but we do know Scott High School Principal Amy Hale hosted a meeting for parents and guardians this week at Scott High School. The board of education accepted Carte’s resignation at a meeting this month.
