Fire damages a Tyler Mountain home that was being renovated

A fire tore through a family home in Kanawha County Friday night as it was being renovated, and while no one was injured, the blaze caused extensive damage. Eyewitness News said Harley Teel owns the home in the 4600 block of Victoria Road in the Tyler Mountain community that caught fire. He said his son-in-law drove past and saw the fire shooting out the house. The house was holding some belongings while the Teel’s daughter was in the process of moving back in. The cause of the fire is unknown is still unknown but the West Virginia Fire Marshal is conducting an investigation.
