A Kanawha County man awaits sentencing after failing to update sex offender registry

A Kanawha County man is facing up to a decade in prison for violating the Sex Offender Registration and Notification Act. Casey Judd of Charleston pleaded guilty for failure to provide information related to interstate travel, according to a news release from the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of West Virginia. He didn’t update registration after moving from Charleston to Springfield, Ohio. Sentencing is set for February 19.
