Deputies in Kanawha County are asking for the public’s help finding a woman who has been reported missing by her family. Tammy Cheryl Allen, 60, has not been seen or heard from since the afternoon of Monday, Dec. 9, according to a news release from the Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office. She is described as being 5 feet, 4 inches tall and about 115 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. Allen, who is unsheltered, was last staying in the Amandaville area of St. Albans. Deputies said she left the “tent city” area between 1-2 p.m. to go to Nitro and never returned. Investigators said it’s unclear what Allen was wearing at the time, but she is known to carry a backpack or large purse and typically wears a ring.
