Arizona man arresedd for brandishing a weapon in hotel lobby

An Arizona man accused of carrying a pellet gun in a Nitro hotel lobby was arrested on Christmas Day. Robert Burton Fogal, 37, of Chandler has been charged with two counts of brandishing a weapon, according to a criminal complaint filed in Kanawha County Magistrate Court. The complaint said deputies were dispatched to a Holiday Inn location along New Goff Mountain Road about 2:30 p.m. Wednesday regarding a disturbance. Security footage showed Fogal walking through the lobby “holding what appeared to be a black pellet/airsoft gun,” according to the complaint. Records said said Fogal was staying at the hotel and was cooperative when confronted by law enforcement. Fogal is being held at South Central Regional Jail on $5,000 bail.
