Charleston’s state of the city address is postponed because of the weather

A state of the city address by Charleston Mayor Amy Shuler Goodwin has been postponed Monday. The address, which was scheduled to take place during a city council meeting Monday evening, was postponed due to inclement weather, according to a news release. Goodwin’s annual address has been rescheduled for Thursday, Jan. 9. The city council and finance committee meetings were also postponed Monday evening. The committee meeting was rescheduled for 5:30 p.m. Thursday, followed by the city council meeting at 6 p.m.
