Kanawha County Schools will team with several institutions of higher learning to help families complete the Free Application For Federal Student Aid. A FAFSA fair is scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 6 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at four locations: Bridge Valley Career & Technical Center, Marshall University South Charleston Campus, The University of Charleston, and West Virginia State University. Financial aid specialists are scheduling 30-minute sessions for parents and guardians who need help completing the form. You’ll need to sign up in advance and bring along a Federal Student Aid ID, Social Security card, driver’s license and a copy of 2023’s federal tax return to the meeting.
