Mayor Goodwin remembers former city council member for his impact

Longtime Charleston City Council member Jack Harrison, has died. Harrison served on the council for 16 years and left lasting contributions, according to Eyewitness News. Charleston Mayor Amy Goodwin remembered him as someone who was a forward-thinking leader and championed investment into key components across the city. He helped transform the Charleston Coliseum and Convention Center into what it is now, and was also a passionate advocate for the tennis and pickleball communities, according to the Mayor.
